The Andhra Premier League 2025 is back with exciting cricket action for fans across the state. Organized by Andhra Cricket Association, the APL 2025 is a regional Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament that will be played in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This year’s edition will feature seven competitive teams, which will battle in 25 T20 matches from August 8 to August 23, 2025.

With the mix of experienced players and emerging youngsters, the APL is set to deliver high intensity and thrilling games. Launched in 2022, the league has quickly gained popularity and is played in a round robin and playoff format. With teams first competing in the league stage matches, and then based on points table data, only four teams will move to the knockout or playoffs for the APL 2025 edition.

Andhra Premier League 2025 Schedule

The APL Cricket 2025 will be played over a tight 16-day window, making each match very crucial in the race to the playoffs. The league stage will see each team face off in round-robin fixtures, ensuring all seven teams get to test themselves against one another. The top teams from the league stage will advance to the knockout phase, which includes Qualifiers and Eliminator matches.

APL 2025 began with the opening match on August 8, 2025 and conclude with the grand finale scheduled for August 23, 2025. Matches will be played across Andhra Pradesh and each day will be a double-header. All matches will be played on a single venue, at Dr. Y.S.
