Virender Sehwag's Former Teammate Registers Stunning Win in Bihar Elections 2025

The results of Bihar Elections 2025 has been making headlines where one of the comebacks was seen by the former teammate of Virender Sehwag who was part of the IPL team Delhi Daredevils (Now Delhi Capitals) from 2008 to 2012. The ex-Delhi Daredevils player, Tejashwi Yadav, who was part of the Delhi Daredevils squad for 5 years but didn't a single chance to make a IPL debut. Tejashwi Yadav IPL journey made him share dressing room with some of the best cricketers in the world like Gautam Gambhir, AB de Villiers, Glenn McGrath and many more.

Tejashwi Yadav was an all-rounder whose interest in cricket began in school days where he also led his school cricket team. He was part of Delhi U19 as well as India U19 cricket teams. He has also played domestic cricket for Jharkhand, where he has played seven matches across the three formats of cricket at domestic level.

Tejashwi Yadav, member of Rashtriya Janata Dal, has secured a comfortable win in the Bihar Election 2025 by winning in Raghopur assembly constituency, where he was leading by more than 14,000 votes. He gained more than 1,17,006 votes and was ahead of BJP's Satish Kumar Yadav by 14,122 votes at moment.

Tejashwi Yadav win in the Bihar Elections 2025 will see a rise in his political career. He started his political while he was pursing cricket at domestic level in 2010. Though, Tejashwi Yadav does not have a long career in cricket, he has been part of one of the best teams in IPL, which has helped him in gaining popularity among the youth of Bihar.
