Manchester United eyeing a serious transfer bid for Martin Zubimendi

The Red Devils have shortlisted in-demand Spanish star Martin Zubimendi as the club are keen on signing a defensive midfielder this summer. The 25-year-old excelled for Real Sociedad last season, registering four goals and one assist in 45 appearances.

United are already deep in negotiations with PSG’s Manuel Ugarte, but Zubimendi has also emerged as a possible target despite the midfielder’s reluctance to leave Real Sociedad this summer.

The 25-year-old midfielder was also wanted by Arsenal in the last two transfer windows, but United, at the moment are only laying down the basics for a probable transfer in the event of a collapse in their transfer for Manuel Ugarte from PSG.
