Continued reports indicate Marvel Rivals may release for the last-gen console from Sony during the upcoming Season 4 update this September. When is Marvel Rivals Expected to be Released for PS4?

Files referring to "Marvel Rivals version 01.01" have recently been uploaded to Sony's servers, according to a reputable data-mining account called PlayStation Game Size, suggesting then it's again likely a PS4 port is set to be revealed. The leak and results also indicated a September 12, 2025, release date, which would coincide with the Season 4 launch. While NetEase has not yet officially stated this, the timing suggests an announcement could happen any day now, especially given that there would be a season 4 trailer soon.

With sold over 117 million PS4 consoles in homes around the world, bringing Marvel Rivals to PlayStation 4 could offer the game a new influx of players at a time when its active numbers have significantly dropped on PC. What to Expect in Marvel Rivals Season 4
