eFootball v4.5.0 minor update released : All details

Konami's best soccer game, eFootball, has rolled out a new minor update. This update is a part of the previous version v4.5.0. This minor update aims to bring a much better in-game experience, along with taking into account some security concerns. The in-game data has been updated as a few clubs and players left the platform while some new ones joined the game's realms. The users will also get to see some new strips, animations, and hear some new fancy commentary.

The minor update comes at a time when the game and its users are going to celebrate its 30th anniversary. This update also hopes to improve the gameplay by fixing some major bugs that severely impacted the players and ruined their in-game experience. eFootball v4.5.0 Update Released

eFootball brings a new minor update to its latest version released on 12 June, 2025. The update saw a few in-game data changes across all platforms. Konami has taken steps to improve the user experience by fixing some of the bugs that frustrated users in the previous versions. Additionally, there are updates about new club and player licences, cards, and much more. While Konami has failed to provide satisfactory updates over the past season, this update is expected to deviate from the disappointing pattern.

Feature Addition and Changes

• The game will automatically lock all types of cards other than ‘Standard cards’ whenever they are acquired by the user.

iOS & Android

• For iOS, the game will automatically lock all types of cards other than ‘Standard cards’ whenever they are acquired by the user.
• For Android, the game will automatically lock all types of cards other than ‘Standard cards’ whenever they are acquired by the user.
• Android and iOS users won't receive regular in-app notifications.
• Some changes have been made to Google authentication methods for Android users.

• The ‘player control’ option has been removed from the pause menu. The user won't be able to switch between User control to AI control in a match while playing vs AI matches in challenge or themed events.
• Users may face a server communication error while deleting a skill.
• An already accomplished objective to appear as ‘next achievable objective’ in eFootball league.
• An attacker or midfielder does not adapt to deep line tactic.
• Own goal due to goalkeeper's poor clearing attempt.
• When executing a kick command while trapping the ball and then performing a Super Cancel before the kick is executed, movement commands cease to function.
