Legends Announced For eFootball 30th Anniversary: All You Need To Know

Efootball has announced the return of big-time legendary cards on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. Efootball, which was earlier known as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), is going to give a chance to its users to add legendary cards of former football greats to their dream teams. The game is currently running its ‘Nostalgia’ themed campaign, which will grant the users free tries to the pack of legendary players.
EFootball is one of the highest downloaded soccer games across the Play Store and App Store. The game is also available to be played on PC and console at the convenience of the user. This popular football game was first launched as PES in the year 1995. It was rebranded as eFootball in the year 2017. Since then, the game has continued to draw millions of players and rival EA FC 25.
Legends Announced For eFootball 30th Anniversary
EFootball has taken the initiative to reward its loyal players by granting free tries on the pack of returning legends. Konami has issued a total of 20 free tries on a pack that is set to roll out on 10th July 2025. This pack will consist of 12 big-time legendary cards that were released in previous seasons. This will give a chance to both the old and new players who missed out on a chance at signing the set of overpowered cards.
Konami has been announcing the returning legends for the last two weeks. This week, they again announced two former legends who will return for the ‘nostalgia’ campaign. EFootball had already announced the return of former Barcelona legend Ronaldinho, Manchester United legend David Beckham, and AC Milan legend Frank Rijkaard when the ‘Nostalgia’ theme was announced.
Last week saw the return of two more Manchester United legends - Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Diego Forlan. This week, efootball announced the return of two former Real Madrid legends, Roberto Carlos and Raul. The game will announce the remaining legends in the upcoming weekly updates.
eFootball’s 30th Anniversary Legends Stats

This update saw the return of two former Real Madrid greats. The first of the two legendary cards is of the Brazilian full-back Roberto Carlos. The big-time card is from the 2002 season, when the player was in his prime with the Galacticos. Users can extract the most out of this card while playing him as a left-back or left midfielder.
The second of the two legendary cards is of Spanish striker Raul. This card comes as a goal-poacher center forward and is expected to attract the attention of the fans of Los Blancos. The card can be trained to play even at the wings. Although these old big-time cards lack booster abilities like the new eFootball cards, they used to be the gamechangers back in the day. Many users who bought these cards during the previous seasons reviewed them to be still good enough to be included in the dream squad of 2025.
Player | Position | Club | Version | Stars | Rating |
