In this match for LSG, Marcus Stoinis (72), Kyle Mayers (54) and Nicholas Pooran (45) were at their best with their willows. On the other hand, in the bowling department, Yash Thakur scalped 4 wickets, helping LSG to register a big win.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL 2025)

LSG's second highest score of IPL was recorded at 238/3 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the current season on 8th April. It is also LSG highest score of IPL 2025. In this clash, Nicholas Pooran played a key role in victory by smashing an unbeaten 87 runs off just 36 balls. Mitchell Marsh also took the centre stage by scoring a fiery 81 runs. KKR gave it their all in the run-chase but fell four runs short of the target.

Lucknow Super Giants registered their third highest score of IPL on May 17, 2024, which was an astounding score of 214 for the loss of 6 wickets. The match was against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. The major credit for this mammoth score goes to the Caribbean star Nicholas Pooran, who registered a brilliant 75 runs innings. KL Rahul assisted with another 55 quick runs. At the end, LSG won the match by 18 runs.

Lucknow Super Giants created history by defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru scoring their fourth highest score of 213 in the 15th match of IPL 2023. With the help of a fiery half-century by Nicholas Pooran (62), Lucknow successfully chased the mammoth target at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB scored 212 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in their 20 overs in the first innings. In reply, Lucknow Super Giants achieved the target by losing 9 wickets off the last of the ball. Nicholas Pooran won the Player of the Match for his match-winning innings.

On May 18, 2022, at DY Patil Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants scored a total of 210 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders and secured a nail-biting win by just 2 runs. Lucknow Super Giants scored their lowest score of 82 against GT. In that fateful match of IPL 2022, LSG got hammered by Gujarat Titans by 62 runs in a one-sided tie. The match was played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Gujarat scored 144 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. After the top order failed, Lucknow's team was all out for 82 runs in 13.5 overs as they failed to chase down 145 runs.
