Jonathan Gaming, one of the biggest BGMI stars of India, has been in the spotlight ever since the end of BGIS 2026. Jonathan was in search of his first official trophy as a BGMI Esports athlete at BGIS 2026. His team, Godlike, entered the finals as one of the favourites but could only manage a fifth-place finish.

Jonathan has been the picture boy for not just Godlike but for the entire BGMI community for years. After another disappointing podium-less finish, reports have now surfaced that Jonathan might leave his long-standing organisation and build one of his own from scratch. The name of his new organisation is touted to be Amaral Esports.

Jonathan Rumoured To Leave Godlike Esports

As per one of the most trusted BGMI sources in India, @letsgrowesports, Jonathan Gaming is going to part ways with Godlike soon. The announcement may arrive in the first week of April 2026.

The reports also stated that Jonathan may venture into something of his own. He is reportedly partnering with a popular gaming vlogger, Soham Rathod (SSR Vlogs), to launch a new organisation. The new org will be a full-fledged Esports team with content creators also involved.

What are the odds of Jonathan Gaming leaving Godlike?

In the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals, Jonathan was the highest fragger of the team with 31 finishes in 18 matches. Despite the day 1 heroics, Godlike ended the tournament in 5th place.

Following the finals, Jonathan posted his message on Instagram suggesting his fans will get to see some 'very new changes and crazy things for the future.' The community interpreted this statement as Jonathan's resignation from Godlike.

Jonathan Gaming leaving Godlike Esports is not impossible, but improbable. With Godlike listed in the prestigious group of orgs that are partnering with the 'EWC Club Partner Program', the organisation would definitely not want to bid farewell to its biggest star.
