One of the most renowned professional BGMI teams in the country, Infinix True Rippers, has released their roster just ahead of BMPS 2026. The news broke on April 22 when the official social handles of the organisation confirmed that the True Rippers BGMI team had left. The 5-man team is still sticking together and is reportedly joining a new organisation in this transfer window.

India's PMGC team calls it a Day at True Rippers

The Indian team, True Rippers, has bid farewell to the roster of Jelly, Hydro, Harsh, Satyam and Kiolmao. The roster had earlier represented India at the PMGC 2025. The team had also finished second at BMIC 2025, just behind former PMGC champions Team DRX.

The roster competed at PMGC 2025 but failed to make it past the initial rounds. Out of the 36 teams, they finished in the second-to-last position. The team ranked 14th in Group Red. In recent times, the team was out of form as they failed to even qualify for the BGIS 2026 semi-finals. The team was knocked out in the BGIS 2026 wildcard stage by just three points.

True Rippers To Join a New Organisation

As per the reports of Letsgrowesports, the Jelly-led team is going to join Jonathan Gaming's new project, Team Apex Gaming. The reports suggest that team Apex Gaming completed a buyout worth 10 lakh INR for the entire roster. Jonathan will join the team as a playing member.

Both Jonathan and True Rippers BGMI Lineup went trophyless in 2025. Both parties may join hands to form a much more strategically compact team for the upcoming BGMI events. Jonathan and Jelly had already shared a stint at Godlike Esports in 2023-24. Godlike failed to win any trophy with the two playing together.

With a new roster in hand, the former Godlike duo will look to get their hands on a title this season. An official confirmation is still awaited.
