On May 31, 2026, Supercell announced a community contest that would allow a lucky winner to take home a $2500 cash prize. This event was introduced to celebrate Brawl Stars' World Finals this year, which is scheduled to be hosted in Tokyo, Japan.

One of the more popular creators in the scene, @CandyNotcias, has revealed that the winning Clancy skin announcement has been delayed. The tweet, however, does not explain the reason behind this sudden schedule reshuffle. Sharing a screenshot of the new dates, the creator wrote, “The announcement of the winning skin from Clancy's SUPERCELL MAKE has been postponed by 2 weeks. The date has been moved from July 8 to July 22.”

The overall Supercell community is seemingly rather confused about why this sudden delay occurred. Many of them are connecting it to the fact that the majority of the Brawl Stars team is currently on vacation. Players and fans feel that the organization may be short-handed, which caused the delay. It caused the Brawl Stars Japan themed Clancy skin contest results to be postponed. “Normally, half the team went on vacation," one wrote.

Another sarcastically asked if anyone even remembered the Supercell Make a Clancy Skin contest. “Who remembered this Supercell Make?” the fan wrote.
