The Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 Will Be Returning to Asia in the Winter

Game developers Supercell and tournament organisers BLAST have finally revealed the Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 hosts. They shared a press release on May 18, stating that the highly anticipated esports event will be hosted in Tokyo, Japan. The tournament will be held from November 20 to November 22, 2026. It will mark the culmination of the 2026 Brawl Stars Championship season, with this year being Supercell's largest in-person event in history. The last time Asia hosted the World Finals was in 2019, in South Korea.

The announcement was made after Supercell's Brawl Stars Championship: Brawl Cup 2026 in Berlin, Germany, this weekend. HMBLE, competing in the sold-out Uber Eats Music Hall, claimed the top spot to unlock an additional Brawl Stars 2026 World Finals slot.

Esports Manager Kim Jensen had high hopes about the upcoming event. “Selling out the Uber Eats Music Hall gives us great confidence for Tokyo in November - the Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 will be our biggest-ever in-person event! Choosing Japan as the location was a no-brainer considering the growth of Brawl Stars in the region and the exceptional dedication of local players and fans,” he said, as per BLAST.

Brawl Stars Programme Director Anne Banschbach also shared some motivating words following the Brawl Cup's conclusion. “The entire BLAST team is incredibly excited to bring the grand finale of the Brawl Stars Championship to Tokyo. This will be BLAST’s first event in Tokyo, and we can’t wait to bring our production to a brand-new location and interact with new fanbases in the region,” she said.

The Brawl Stars World Finals 2026 teams must go through a specific process to make it to Japan. Around 10 teams will qualify via the Regional Leaderboards. Finally, two teams will qualify for the Brawl Stars World Finals Japan 2026 through the in-person Last-Chance Qualifier (LCQ) event in October.
