The Mongolz Open to Offers for Senzu as CS2 Roster Talks Heat Up

A recent report from HLTV claimed that Senzu is open to offers from other organisations, especially in the tier-1 scene. According to them, the organisation has instructed ULTI Agency to find a new base for the star rifler.

A few months ago, the Mongolian organisation benched the 19-year-old key player and added Controlez to their roster. However, followed by a few unsuccessful outcomes, they even brought back Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold as a substitute. At the end, he didn't even play a single Counter-Strike 2 match in 2025 after being benched.

The Mongolz Open to Offers for Senzu: What This Means for the Team’s Future

The October 2025 move was quite shocking from the Mongolian organisation. Despite maintaining a staggering 1.11 HLTV rating since summer break, the star player got benched for no specific reason. Everyone in the CS community questioned this move; however, the organisation had no clear explanation.

On the other hand, 28-year-old Controlez ended his tenure after the MongolZ faced a heartbreaking loss against Team Vitality in the Quarterfinal of the Budapest Major. The community had high hopes that this might be a chance to bring Senzu back to the main roster. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

Instead of bringing back the 19-year-old, MongolZ signed 20-year-old Cobrazera from Chinggis Warrior. It'll be interesting to see how this new Mongolian synergy works out for the successful tier-1 Counter-Strike 2 team.

Why are The Mongolz selling Senzu?

Well, The MongolZ haven't provided any clear reason for why they're selling Senzu. However, it's quite evident that the organisation wants to use this player to increase its profit at the company. For context, HLTV is about to reveal the top 20 players of 2025 based on their rating. Followed by the norms, they've already showcased players from positions 11 to 20 ahead of the final 10.

Guess what, Senzu is in 13th position. Imagine a 19-year-old who hasn't made any appearance since October 2025, claiming a spot in the top 15. We believe that he had immense potential to be in the top 5 if MongolZ had given him a chance.

The reason we're saying this because when the organisation saw that Senzu had achieved a top 20 HLTV position, it meant his market price would be increased naturally. And now this is the best chance to make some profit.

Anyways, sources have said that Senzu wishes to continue his CS2 competitive career in the tier-1 scene, and we really hope that he ends up in the top 5 HLTV spot next year.
