On July 2, 2025, one of the most trusted EA FC sources on X, Infinity FC, reported that EA has approached CBF to bring back both the Men's and Women's Brazil national teams to the upcoming FC 26 edition. However, the proposal is yet to be accepted by the team and is currently under review. Brazil's national teams were absent from the previous titles, including FC 24 and FC 25, because of licensing disputes between the two parties.

EA has faced several legal issues in the past, as many Brazilian players sued the organization for image rights. EA had to pay a compensation of 7 million BRL (Brazilian Real) and didn't include CBF in their games again. If EA and CBF resolve the past issues and join hands again, Brazil's national team will be back in the game, adding another interesting element for FC fans. The inclusion of Brazil's women's team will prove to be more significant as this will mark the growth of women's football worldwide.
