In a recent post by @Fut_scoreboard on X, an EAFC tracker app, the new design for this year's Gold rare card was leaked, with the poster boy being none other than Trent-Alexander Arnold, whose recent free transfer from Liverpool to Real Madrid has left a lot of Reds fans bitter.

The post captioned, "FC26 GOLD RARE CARD OFFICIAL CARD DESIGN Which one you want to see next?" reveals the latest sunray-like design coming out of the player's back. The EA FC 26 Gold rare cards are a take on the new direction as compared to last year. EA FC 25 had a shield look covered in gold with blue hues. However, this year is more focused on giving the card a three-dimensional look via a sunray-designed cover, which looks like it might come out of the card.
