They are set to launch the trailer of FC 26 today, marking the beginning of the countdown to the release of this highly anticipated title. EA Sports has not only announced the trailer, but they have also revealed the cover star for this upcoming title. The iconic star to grace the covers of EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition is none other than Swedish icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The cover photo shows Zlatan in his bedroom, surrounded by the posters of Ronaldo Nazario. Zlatan's return to the EA FC franchise is quite surprising since he was last seen during FIFA 23. EA and Ibrahimovic got into a public clash over the use of his image rights during the FIFA 21 era, but now that both parties have buried the hatchet, the iconic star is set to make a comeback and will even be added to the FC Mobile roster after the FC 26 launch.

In the video, Palmer could be seen reading various messages and requests from fans, like ‘Make a Trailer > Announce nothing,' 'Movie 99.9% Actual Gameplay 0.1%,' 'Just show us the flipping game,' and more. Then a man comes to him and asks, "So what do you think?" to which Palmer replies, "just show the game innit."

His statement signals that EA is intending to display more gameplay in the upcoming trailer. The setting of this teaser also humorously mocks the previous EA trailers that were heavily criticized for lacking significant gameplay footage. The teaser also tells that EA reads the community feedback, where fans expressed disappointment over trailers majorly focusing on cinematics rather than the actual gameplay.

The most notable feature that will be introduced in FC 26 is that players can choose whether they want Competitive Gameplay or Authentic Gameplay. Players will receive more agility and pace even when they are tired. Moreover, dribbling will be enhanced and deflections will be controlled. The most-awaited title will also introduce new playstyles, including Trickster Rainbow, Elastico Variation, and Drag to Chop.

The Manager career mode has also received a major update with new challenges waiting for you. Another highlight of the trailer was penalty kicks, where now players will get slots, making the penalty shootout easier for them.

FC 26 Pre-Order

EA FC's most reliable leak provider on X, EA FC 26 leaks, has revealed that you can pre-order the upcoming title starting August 26, 2025. According to the leak, pre-ordering will offer instant rewards in the current title, FC 25. Players will get to choose one Icon player from the options of five who will have an OVR of 93, plus they will also get access to Player Evolution, where they can upgrade some specific player cards by completing a few objectives. Apart from this, players are also expected to get 1 of the 15 ICONS in the Ultimate Team mode as a Pre-Order bonus.
