FC 26 FUT Deep Dive Released: New Live Events, Gameplay & More

FC 26 is just a few weeks away from the release, and EA is regularly providing new updates about the FUT Deep Dive so that fans get a better picture of the content and upgrades they are going to get in the Ultimate Team. This time, the developers have really taken the community feedback into account and added and improved various aspects of the game. This time, they have turned the gameplay more competitive, added new modes, and also made changes to Evolutions, match outcomes, and more. Let's find out all the enhancements that are coming to the game.

FC 26 FUT Deep Dive Released

Live Events

Live Events is the new competitive format that will provide more variety to the squads and matches in FC 26. Here you will get to experience new themed contests that will come with tough challenges and test your skills. You can access them through the Event Hub interface, which shows event availability, requirements, rewards, and progress.

Entry Requirements

Some Live events will require players to meet specific criteria, like playing in a certain Division, completing specific objectives, and reaching a certain Division.

Custom Rules & Match Setting

The Live Events will also feature house rules, with unique match settings to test your gameplay skills. This will make every match feel different.

Objective Linking

FC 26 will save a lot of your time from scrolling through the menus. Every event will feature their own objectives. Completing Live Event challenges will contribute to more objectives like season pass progression and more reward chances.

Matchmaking

Matchmaking will be done on the basis of your match record in that specific live event. This will ensure fairness in matches.

New Play Menu

The Play menu has been completely revamped in such a way that you will be easily able to access all FUT modes, including Live Events, Tournaments, Rivals, and more. You will also be able to see the upcoming Live Events and their rewards with just one click.

Tournaments Are Back

Tournaments are all set to bring back the knockout format with improved structure and schedule. The tournaments will also require you to meet specific criteria and feature unique rewards, along with new rules. The good part is, these tournaments will only appear on special occasions rather than running every week.

Gauntlet

Gauntlet is a new upcoming mode, which will consist of up to five matches. What makes it unique is that you have to use a different squad for each match. During the launch, Gauntlet will feature three rounds and run every two weeks. Moreover, you don't have to be worried about eliminations. You can have the endless experience in this mode with many rewards to claim.

FC Pro Live Events

For the first time, you will be able to integrate the game with FC Pro, allowing you to compete against the best players. If you play FC 26 on PS5 or Xbox Series, you can register for FC Pro competitions straight from the Ultimate Team. PS5 users can especially qualify for further FC Pro competitions.

Rivals Revamp

The Rivals Revamp will see the changes requested by the community through feedback.

• It will have limited checkpoints, so your grind will be reduced, and you will quickly progress towards the top.
• Rivals will see a new competitive format, details of which will be shared by EA as soon as the release date gets closer.
• After climbing the Divisions, you will be consistently matched up against the players of the same skill level.

Bounties

These are the challenges that will randomly apply in your next Rivals match. Completing them will earn you instant rewards, like coins, card packs, XP, etc.

Duels

This will match you with the opponents who have been given the same challenge. This will increase the competitiveness and ensure that only one player is rewarded.

Limited Checkpoints

Limited Checkpoints will reset in every Rivals Season and will make things easy for players so that they don't have to be stuck to specific tasks for a longer time.

Champions & Challengers

In the previous FC titles, qualifying for Champions required accomplishing tough tasks. So EA took the community feedback and removed the Playoffs from the Champions in FC 26. Now you can directly qualify for Champions by reaching certain Rivals Division and collecting the qualification points.

Challengers

Challengers is a new tier added to Champion and has a completely new format.

Competitive Gameplay

The one thing that almost every FC fan wanted to see a change in was the Gameplay, so the developers finally enhanced the Gameplay by making it more competitive. The Competitive gameplay will now be more consistent and have higher player control.

Updated Match Outcomes In Football Ultimate Team

A post-launch update to match outcomes in FUT in FC 25 was introduced that focused on players' disappointment after not winning or a match ending up in a draw. In FC 26, disconnects will be added, which means your team will instantly win the match if your opponent quits or disconnects from the match when the score is a draw.

RUSH Match Outcomes / Matchmaking Delays

When your match is going perfect, you are on the winning side, and suddenly some of your teammates quit or disconnect, it is definitely frustrating. So EA has introduced matchmaking delays in FUT RUSH for players who regularly leave matches early.

GK, Repeatable Evolutions, & Cosmetic Upgrades

FC 26 will introduce GoalKeeper Evos that will give you more freedom while building your Ultimate Team.

Repeatable Evolutions

Just like SBCs and Objectives, some of the evolutions can be completed multiple times. However, it will be limited, which means they can be completed for a specific number of times.

Cosmetic Stacking & Rarity Layers

The Evolution status can be marked with new badges, and you can evolve players without changing the item design. On the other hand, cosmetic upgrades will now stack on each other when the effect is of the same type so that you can embrace your unique look.

When an item's rarity changes, the animation and badge effects that don't belong to it will carry over.

Graduated Transfer Market Access

In FC 25, the Graduated Access became live in 2024 on PC, but in FC 26, it will be active on multiple platforms since the launch. If you already have an active account on the same platform that meets the requirements, you will instantly get the access to the Full Transfer Market when you log in for the first time in FC 26.

Objectives

Earlier, players had to navigate Objectives to find the available ones and their rewards. In the upcoming title, active objectives will automatically appear on the Play Menu. For the Live Events, you will also be able to view the entry requirements instantly.
