While the Football community is gearing up for the quarter-finals stage of every European club competition (UEFA), EA Sports just dropped a bombshell in-game. Yes, the cult classic Road to the Finals promo is back. The RTTF has introduced a decent amount of special-edition player cards, with all of them eligible for live boosts. The catch, however, is that the boost system depends on the performance of their respective teams. EA Sports has officially revealed the path of how the boost system works this year. On that note, let's take a look at the EA FC 26 Road to the Final event guide.

Those who've been playing the Ultimate Team mode are already familiar with the upgrade concept. And this year, the developers have slightly tweaked the upgrade path, where every match will matter. Both legs of the quarters and semis will make an impact this year. From Kylian Mbappe to Mohamed Salah, each team has player representation.

Each card is eligible for upgrade as long as they're RTTF event-exclusive. On that note, let's take a look at the Football Ultimate Team 26 UEFA Road to the Final upgrade path:

If a player qualify for the Semi-Finals	All Roles++ and he'll receive +1 Skill moves or weak foot
If a player win or draw the Semi-Final First Leg	+1 OVR
If a player win or draw the Semi-Final Second Leg	+1 OVR
If a player wins the UEFA Competition (Final)	96 OVR and both five-star traits (Skill moves and weak foot)

Go For Glory: A Unique In-game Tournament

EA Sports has introduced a unique Go For Glory tournament. Similar to the UEFA competitions, it'll feature knockout rounds. Players have to face other players' real-life opponents and play 12 matches to earn a spot in the RTTF Champions Cup. The criteria are simple: they must win at least 7 to secure their spot in the knockout stage. In case someone fails to win at least seven, they must compete in the RTTF Competitors Cup.

EA All Set To Introduce Staggering Evolutions

While the names of the EVOs are still unknown, the officials have confirmed that they'll introduce two exciting evolutions. Both of them will honour some great performances in the UEFA Champions League. The first one will be dedicated to Arjen Robben's 89th winner in 2013. And the other one will be dedicated to Federico Valverde's incredible hat-trick against Manchester City in the first leg.

EA Sports Introduced a New Take on the UWCL

While players can get their hands on the UWCL, EA Sports will introduce a few Showdown-exclusive SBC cards. Moreover, the devs are also mentioned regarding the Marquee matchup during both second-leg quarter-final matchdays.
