After weeks of anticipation, EA has finally made the much-awaited announcement! The developers will be showcasing the FC 27 Reveal Trailer tomorrow, with Kylian Mbappe returning as the game's cover star after FIFA 23.

This marks Mbappe's first appearance as the face of EA's annual football simulation title following the company's rift with EA FC back in 2023. The French Striker Mbappe FC 27 Cover Edition will be fully unveiled once the game's first official trailer goes live tomorrow.

FC 27 Cover Mbappe Reclaims the Spotlight From Teammate Bellingham

With Real Madrid being one of the FC 27 Partner Clubs over the years, EA has utilized the Madrid Galacticos as their cover athletes. From bringing Brazilian winger Vinícius Júnior as the face for the game's mobile counterpart, FC Mobile, to featuring the English midfield maestro Jude Bellingham as both the FC 25 and FC 26 Official Standard Covers, Real Madrid players have been a mainstay in EA FC covers recently.

Kylian Mbappe was a superstar in his own right in the previous season by becoming the top scorer for both his club and country. After becoming the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League last year, he recently bagged the Golden Boot at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

After featuring as the EA FC cover for three years consecutively, FIFA 21, 22 and 23, Mbappe joins the group of elite players to feature on more than three covers from the franchise. Additionally, FC Mobile players will be able to claim a free Kylian Mbappe Player Item tomorrow after the weekly reset.

When will the EA FC 27 Trailer Release?

Besides revealing the FC 27 Standard Edition Cover, EA also announced that the full Trailer Reveal will be taking place tomorrow, i.e., July 23rd. The Trailer is expected to show fans an early glimpse of what the game brings, along with the new FC the Grounds, new league and club licenses, and more.
