FC 27 Early Access: Get Ready to Play Before Everyone Else

EA Sports' latest football simulation is just a few weeks away, and community members are already ready to grind the new mechanics. The official schedule suggests that the title will release on September 25, 2026. The catch, however, is that a few players can access the game even before its global release. Those who've secured a copy of the Ultimate or Ultimate Plus editions for themselves are already notified about this FC 27 Early Access.

Meanwhile, both EA Play and EA Play Pro subscribers can also do the same. The surprise, however, lies in the fact that these subscribers can get access a day earlier. Therefore, here's a small guide on how you can still join in the venture before the global launch.

FC 27 Early Access Date Has Been Confirmed

According to EA Sports' standard practice, gamers can access each latest EA FC title a week early. And the upcoming one hasn't been an exception. EA FC 27 Early Access will be available on September 18, 2026, at 4:30 AM IST/23:00 UTC (the previous day). Well, the catch is that not everyone can access it at the mentioned time, but there are some criteria. Players must own a specific set of game versions/subscription models to access it. Here's a detailed overview:

• A player has to own either an Ultimate or Ultimate Plus edition.
• They must subscribe to either the EA Play or EA Play Pro service.

All the editions we've mentioned, except EA Play, provide access to the full game. The EA Play service, however, comes with a big disappointment. The normal edition owners will receive a 10-hour trial. Once the limited-time trial is over, they must purchase the full game again. For context, here are the US-based prices:

• EA Play: $39.99/ Year and $5.99/Month
• EA Play Pro: $119.99/ Year and $16.99/Month

How to Play FC 27 Before Launch (Officially)

We've given a basic idea of how to play FC 27 before launch. Let's take a detailed look at this part. So, the standard practices clearly suggest that both Ultimate and Ultimate Plus owners can get access a week earlier. Therefore, those variant owners can enter the servers from September 18, 2026. While the Ultimate version is still available on the market, players can't purchase the Ultimate Plus one. In case someone doesn't want to burn a hole in their pocket, there's a cheaper option. This option, however, can secure a copy for atleast a year. Yes, we're talking about the EA Play subscription method. You must own the EA Play Pro service to own FC 27. The other one, unfortunately, offers only 10 hours of access. Therefore, the bottom line is that if you don't want to commit to the game fully, you can opt to subscribe to the EA Play Pro service.

How to Join EA Play Pro

Now that we've mentioned a relatively easy way out to test the latest title, here's how to join EA Play Pro:

• Navigate to the EA Play official website.
• Click or Tap on the Join Now button on the top right.
• Do remember that PlayStation, Xbox, or Epic Games users can't acces this service.
• Select the Platform where your EA games are stored. The options include: Steam or EA App.
• Opt for the EA Play Pro membership.
• Go for either the Monthly or Yearly option.
• Complete the rest of the payment process.
