FC 27 Onboards Indian Super League Clubs With a New Deal

The FC 27 Indian Super League licensing is good news not just for the top Indian flight but also for its fans who sought Indian representation in the top football title. EA Sports and the new ISL committee (which includes all Club Owners), responsible for running the league, negotiated a new 4-year contract. The new deal is reportedly bigger and better than the previous one, with a 26% raise as reported by Khel Now.

The new deal sealed Indian representation in one of the top football gaming franchises while also giving an essential commercial boost ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 season. Earlier, the former owners of the league, FSDL, pulled out after failing to renew MRA with FFB (Football Federation of Bharat).

This left Indian football in a spot of bother. The new club-led management securing a commercially profitable deal with a global Franchise like EA will help improve the visibility of the league and its players in the years to come.

List of Confirmed ISL Clubs in FC 27

The Indian Super League in FC 27 will see 13 of the 14 clubs being fully licensed. The only shocker from this story is the exclusion of the defending ISL champions, East Bengal, from the new deal.
