FC 27 Could Be Cutting Back on Ultimate Team Promos This Year

With all the hype going around for FC 27, trusted leakers have revealed something concerning. And it's all regarding the in-game promos. Promos and the cards associated with them always hold a special place in every EA FC fan's heart.

According to trusted sources, EA is aiming to introduce fewer promos in its next iteration. Basically, the giants are reducing the overall power curve. Compared to the titles we've seen so far, the numbers are likely to be lower for FC 27. While nothing has been confirmed officially, let's take a deep dive into FC 27 Promos Leaked.

FC 27 Promos Leaked, and It Raises Concerns Among Fans

If we remember correctly, FC 26 has already seen over 20 promos in its yearly cycle. And a few more are yet to come. The trusted sources (@ASYFUTTrader and @FUTSheriff) have confirmed that EA Sports is making a huge tweak to this concept in its upcoming version. Both trusted sources we've mentioned earlier have given the community a sneak peek at the FC 27 Promo Schedule. Here's what we know so far:

Do remember that FC 27 will certainly run beyond four seasons. The leakers, however, have only managed to derive data for the first couple of seasons.

• Future Stars (Season 1): The Future Stars promo is all about commemorating the youngsters of the game.
• Ultimate Scream (Season 2): The Ultimate Scream event comes as the main attraction during the Halloween season. It'll feature a few high-rated Icons, Heroes, and current-gen stars.
• Winter Wildcards (Season 3): On the other hand, Winter Wildcards comprise almost the same concept as the previous promo. It's also about a few cards with higher OVR, but the card design is different and arrives during the winter season.
• Team of the Year (TOTY): Finally, the Team of the Year promo is known to almost every football fan. EA honours the best-performing players with high OVR in-game cards.
