FC 27 Server Maintenance 21 October: When Will The Game Open?

After almost a month-long pause, EA Sports developers have finally announced server maintenance, and there's a surprise for everyone. The first FC 27 Server Maintenance 21 October is underway and will have a scheduled downtime for the latest title. Following the norm, all previous EAFC iterations, including FC 26, FC 25, and FC 24, will also be affected by this planned maintenance.

EA developers have announced the timing through their communication handle. Based on @EASFCDirect's recent post, the maintenance will start at 6 AM UTC, with matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes prior. Let's take a look at all the details on how long this planned downtime will last, including FC 26 Server Maintenance timings.

FC 27 Server Status: How Long Will The Current EA FC Maintenance Continue

The scheduled FC 27 Server Maintenance 21 October has finally started, and it's one of those times when players will be restricted from matchmaking. The maintenance will start at 6 AM UTC, with the servers being disabled until 11 AM UTC. It's quite evident that the first-ever FC 27 Server Down time will be around five hours if things don't go south on EA's end.

So, if you're still playing EA FC 26, remember that FC 26 Server Maintenance will follow the same timeline. And interestingly, it's applicable across all devices, including PC, Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. Here's an overview of the detailed timings as per EA's recent X post:

FC 27's first-ever scheduled maintenance phase will include a lot of content. Before checking out the details, do go through our recent coverage of FC 27 New Hall of FUT and Icon Leaks to check the upcoming and potential list of candidates.

What's Coming After the FC 27 Server Maintenance 21 October?

Following the recent announcement from the official @EASFCDirect account, the developers are making changes to Player Archetypes in The Grounds, thereby altering Attribute Point costs and removing the Attacking Positioning requirement. Compensation is also coming for players who have previously created pros: they'll receive 5,000 Club Coins and a 1.75x AXP Multiplier for 6 matches.

Additionally, the Ultimate Scream event is expected to arrive this Friday, 23rd October, with players getting a new set of Players and Icons to add to their FUTs, as per the latest FC 27 Ultimate Scream Player Predictions. With the last FC 27 Title Update 1.0.4 happening a fortnight ago, we can expect another shorter update to arrive soon with the new changes.

How Long Will the EAFC 27 Server Down Last

As stated above, the exact maintenance downtime for the FC 27 Server Down will last at least 5-6 hours. With match creation getting disabled half an hour before the scheduled FC 27 Server Maintenance 21 October, players across the globe can expect to return to their Division Rivals grind only after 12 UTC, once the servers open gradually.

Do remember that the maintenance will be ongoing in all four of EAFC's titles, so you can't switch your game to the previous iteration, as FC 26 Server Maintenance is also currently underway. Keep checking our EA FC News & Updates page, as we will be the first to share once the game reopens after 11 UTC.
