FC Mobile is about to drop one of the biggest promos of the year next week, the TOTY ( Team of the Year), but that is not the only thing that has the community buzzing over the last few days. The players' anticipation went sky-high after one of the trusted data miners revealed that a new draft system is going to arrive in conjunction with the TOTY 25 promo. The new FC Mobile draft system is speculated to be inspired by the 'Star Scout' feature; however, its working will be a bit different.

FC Mobile Draft System Leaked

@sappurit posted a ton of information about the new FC Mobile draft system on his X, while clearing the doubts of the players. The leaker made the tweet on January 10, 2026, at 1:36 AM IST.

The leaker confirmed that the FC Mobile draft system feature will allow the new players to speed up their squads. This means it will help the new users to quickly upgrade their Ultimate team so that they can compete with the old folks.

This feature will likely include 5 tiers, A-E, in order from best to worst. A new player will get a kickoff draft ticket, while old users will get standard draft tickets. These draft tickets will help you pull out cards from a specific tier. The pull system will also have the 'pity mechanism', which means you will be getting a guaranteed high OVR card once you hit a threshold of minimum pulls. To put it simply, you will get a high OVR card for sure after a certain number of pulls.

When will the new FC Mobile Draft System release?

As per the leaker, the new FC Mobile draft system is going to be released on January 15, 2026. It is still unclear whether the new draft system will become a permanent feature or will only come as a side event. With the voting lines for the Team of the Year Promo already active, the FC Mobile Draft system may coincide with the FC Mobile TOTY 26 release date, and hence, the next update is showing signs to be one of the biggest of the month of January.

The leaks suggest the new draft system will replace the current shard system. As per the leaks, you will get a certified draft ticket in 100 drafts. A kickoff draft ticket will be available in just 50 drafts. Draft tickets for B and C picks shall be available in 10 drafts. All the players are guaranteed to get 10,000 coins.
