The grassroots events are a new side initiative that first launched in February this year. You can get new boosted cards with +2 chemistry and improved overalls from these. EA Sports has scheduled a YouTube stream for 13th August, where they will reveal the new chapters and paths on how to complete this event. The grassroots event will be a 14-day event where you can explore the paths, stories, and complete challenges to get shards and unlock the players. One of the best benefits of having a grassroots card is its automatic chemistry boost for all of the clubs and countries, and an easy evolution upgrade. How To Claim Grassroot Player

To obtain a grassroots player, you will have to follow four more basic rules. The first of them is to attend the YouTube stream of the new event to understand the new path and storyline in the Grassroots event. The progression of events will start from the “Road to Great” path in the Grassroots Greats. You need to have around 56k gems to get the required 650 shards. These will buy you a player worth the OVR of 110-111. Here's how you can achieve the gems:

• Through the 14-day event, you can complete the daily tasks, which will give you 480 gems per day on average. You can collect up to 8,160 in the whole 14-day event.
• The ad-pack will give you 100 gems daily.
• The gems' limited offer can give you 2.5k gems per week, which means 5k gems for the whole event timeline.
• The league's Limited Offer will also provide you with 2.5k gems on average per week.
• By completing the Ragnarok weekly quest, you will get 1k gems.
• Complete the daily activities and tasks given in the event to get 100 gems per day.
• You can get an average of 5.5k gems per week by competing in the Division Rivals leaderboard. By 2 weeks, you can collect up to 11k gems.
• By competing in the League, the collection per week will be 10k. Thus, for a total of 2 weeks, it will be 20k.

By following these steps, you can collect almost 56k gems. Some of the events are independent of the Grassroots Event, so you can even start collecting now. A number around 56k of gems will give you almost 650 shards, which is a required mark to get an 110 overall card.
