Back in February, a massive rumour spread regarding the arrival of Brazilian players in EA FC games. And the FC Mobile Ginga Event in the same month even solidified its chances. Now, however, the tables have turned, as EA developers have reportedly removed the A Nation's Story Brazil event from the daily login calendar.

The event was previously present but appears to have been removed later due to some unannounced issues. While some popular leakers are pointing towards licensing issues, a few netizens believe it will return right before the World Cup 2026.

Interestingly, EA Sports has remained silent on the topic with no official statement about it. Regardless, here's a brief on what actually happened in FC Mobile and how the community is reacting to it.

It all started last month, when we got our hands on the FC Mobile event lineups for April 2026. The daily log-in calendar clearly showcased three destinations for the Nation's Story event: Brazil, Italy, and Spain. The Brazil Story was scheduled to arrive on April 9, 2026.

As soon as April arrived, the login calendar apparently removed Brazil, the birthplace of Ginga. Since there was no official notice prior to its removal, the community went furious. It's quite evident, considering the number of Icons and Heroes they could've added to their Ultimate Team.

Some of the potential names could be Kaka, Ronaldinho, Neymar and Dunga. Therefore, what happened to the strong rumour that suggested Brazil would return to the EA FC franchise?

According to some leakers, some licensing-related issues are causing a delay to the Nations Story Brazil in FC Mobile to introduce the Ginga stars.

As discussed, the community became upset after the sudden removal of Brazil from the daily login calendar. And one of the Reddit users, u/Vegetable_Repeat_874, asked a question on FC Mobile Nation Story Brazil Event. They asked:

“Did they cancelled the plan of Brazil Nations story It was supposed to come in April 9 But now it's not there in calendar and in nation story gallery only 2 more locked sections are there”

Another fan u/the-altman718, has speculated that the Nations Story Brazil and TOTS event will debut on the same day. It, however, is very unlikely. They mentioned:

“TOTS is the more important event, as far as I know the Brazil chapter in Nation's Story will still release on the same day.”

While nothing has been confirmed officially, there's a high chance the event will finally return with the arrival of the CONMEBOL event. It, however, solely depends on the official authority.
