EA has taken the FC Mobile community by surprise with their latest feature called PlayStyles. Players can use this feature and test it themselves using the EA Sports FC Mobile beta app.

This is the first time EA is trying to implement one of the features from the console games in its mobile title. You can check the details of all FC Mobile playstyles and the process to download the app below.

What are PlayStyles in FC Mobile?

FC Mobile PlayStyles are like unique abilities equipped to players that allow them to perform magical dribbles, take rocket shots and win headers more effectively. All the playstyles uniquely impact the game and make the gaming experience more authentic. It adds realism to the gameplay.

FC Mobile PlayStyles are specific to the role and position in which the players operate on the pitch. These abilities are pre-assigned to players based on whether they are attackers, defenders, midfielders or goalkeepers.

FC Mobile PlayStyles Beta test began on April 15, 2026. The beta testing app is currently available in some countries like Canada, India and more.

All Playstyles in FC Mobile

18 new PlayStyles have been introduced in FC Mobile. These playstyles are divided into 6 main categories, which reflect the role and position of the players. These 6 categories of playstyles in FC Mobile are: Ball Control, Defending, Passing, Finishing, Physical and Goalkeeping.

Ball Control PlayStyles

As the name suggests, the players equipped with this FC Mobile playstyle are very fast and nimble on the ball. This playstyle is built for Strikers and wingers. Ball control playstyles make the players deadly in 1v1 situations.

PlayStyle	Description
Rapid	Players have an explosive pace while making sprints with the ball. It is best suited for counterattacks.
Trickster	The player can easily perform skill moves and take on defenders 1v1.

These playstyles are for the centre backs, full backs and defensive midfielders of your Ultimate team. These playstyles help to neutralise opponents' attacks.

PlayStyle	Description
Anticipate	Players can read the passes and make more clean standing tackles.
Guardian	Players can make hard, aggressive tackles with a higher success rate.

Passing holds the key to building up play and creating goal-scoring chances. The midfielders, wingers and strikers require this skill in any Ultimate team.

PlayStyle	Description
Tiki Taka	Players can make ground passes more accurately and at a faster pace.
Bullet Pass	Players can make strong, driven ground passes at a higher speed. It's great for transitions.
Whipped Crosser	Players can send more accurate pinpoint crosses from the wings.

The result of the matches depends on the number of goals scored by any team. Finishing playstyles are needed by strikers, second strikers and CAMs so that they can bury the chances without fail.

PlayStyle	Description
Power Shot	Players can take powerful shots with higher accuracy.
Penalty Expert	Players can take more accurate shots from the penalty spot.
Fineese Expert	Players can take more precise curling shots.
Clinical Finisher	Take accurate shots on target from close to mid-range distance.
Chipped Shot	Players can chip the ball over the goalkeeper more accurately.

Physical playstyles help players win ground and aerial duels. It is also an important ability for winning the second ball in dangerous spaces. This one is for the CBs, CDMs and CMs.

PlayStyle	Description
Relentless	Players have high stamina and can run every inch of the pitch for the full duration of the match.
Precision Header	Players are great at heading the ball and winning aerial duels.
Accelerator	The player is lightning quick off the ball and can make runs.
Bruiser	The player is physically strong in one-on-one situations and can shield the ball while dribbling or going for tackles.
