This eFootball Connect was streamed from Siam Paragon in Thailand, which also hosted the eFootball Championship World Finals 2026. Here, you can find all that was announced on stream.
eFootball Connect Stream Reveals New In-Game Features
The eFootball Connect in World Festival stream provided a sneak peek into many upcoming features that are sure to shake up the meta. From cards with 3 Showtime skills to new team playstyles, here is the complete breakdown of what's to come in eFootball version 6.0 this August.
Custom Tournament
The latest eFootball Connect stream revealed the new Custom Tournament feature. For the first time, players will be able to host mini tournaments in-game and invite others to participate in them.

As the name suggests, players will be able to customise everything from the type of matches to the number of allowed substitutions to the type of cards allowed based on live form, nationality and more.
New Team Playstyle
A new team playstyle will debut after the next eFootball update. The eFootball Connect in World Festival announced Overload as the newest Team playstyle. This playstyle is unique as all players will move to the side of the pitch where the ball is in play to add numerical strength.
In the eFootball Overload playstyle, while attacking, players can play quick short passes to build up, and while defending, they can pressure the opponent with numbers to regain possession. This will basically function like 11 players attacking and defending the ball at the same time.

New managers will be released for this playstyle, who can have up to two link-up playstyles. This feels like a deliberate cash grab attempt from Konami. New managers with up to two link-up playstyles will certainly be more expensive.
Players will also be able to switch between their formations during play. Every formation will be divided based on attacking and defending tactics. Players better be prepared to play haram ballers now.

Daily Super Play

The daily game will be replaced with a new mini-game, called Daily Super Play. As per the eFootball Connect stream, players will now have to score a goal daily to move up the daily game ladder, not from a penalty but from open play. Konami is making it obvious that they surely don't want to give anything for free.
New Volley Shot

This is a promising addition, and starting with the new eFootball version 6.0, players will be able to hit stunning shots on deflected volleys. This will allow you to recreate some popular real-life goals like those of Rooney and Ronaldo. Hurry up and use the eFootball QR code now to get a Free epic player; it expires soon.
