Daniel will be going up against a familiar foe in the quarter finals of the FIFAe World Cup eFootball 2025. This quarter-final fixture will be a rematch of the semi-finals of the last edition of the tournament. India will play against Malaysia in the quarter-finals. Daniel will have a tough task at hand in quarters, since he will be taking on the defending champion, MinBappe.

Daniel and MinBappe have faced each other once before, and the Malaysian had beaten Daniel 2-3 in that match. This match presents an opportunity for Daniel to avenge his semi-final defeat in 2024. The winner of this match will face either Japan or Thailand in the quarter-finals on the same day.

If Daniel makes it past the semifinals, he will be up against either Brazil, Greece, Turkey or Egypt for the crown in the grand finals of the tournament.
