Konami Brings New eFootball Legend Marcelo with Naruto Campaign

Konami surprised the community by announcing the arrival of new eFootball legend Marcelo today. The developers shared a hidden message on their socials, but the community was quick to identify the next big star joining eFootball. This will be the first-ever epic card for former Madrid full-back Marcelo in eFootball.

Marcelo Debuts in eFootball

eFootball took to its official X handle to drop hints about the new eFootball legend arriving today after the weekly scheduled maintenance. The image in the tweet denoted a frog with some alphanumeric characters. Players needed to decode the hint to discover who's coming.

While decoding the hint, players first need to visit the official US eFootball site and look at its header menu. The other random numbers in the hint correspond to header text on the screen. Using this, we found that the new eFootball legend is none other than Marcelo.

He is arriving in the Epic Worldwide Club Ft Naruto pack that will be available in the game for two weeks between 30 April and 14 May 2026.

Marcelo Gets a Special Card

The new eFootball Marcelo may be the new meta full-back. He is expected to boost his high stats in dribbling, ball control, passing, speed, and acceleration. Despite playing as a defender, Marcelo will feel like a Playmaker. He will boast incredible offensive awareness.

Marcelo's new card is getting the eFootball x Naruto campaign theme. He is having the 'Attacking Fullback' playing style and will be equipped with two special skills, which are 'Momentum Dribbling' and 'Edge Crossing.'

The new eFootball legend Marcelo has also received a special themed card as part of the new campaign. This means that the version of the card is going to be epic, but the card design is going to be different from that of usual Epics or 30th anniversary legends.
