Konami is debuting new eFootball POTD Cards during this World Cup season. These new kinds of cards will arrive every day following the start of the group stage fixtures in the FIFA World Cup 2026. The top performers from the matches will be inducted into it, and you can sign it either for free or using coins.

Player of the Day (POTD) Cards Debuts in eFootball

Konami is bringing new Player of the Day (POTD) cards in eFootball starting today as a part of the Football Festival Campaign. Only the players who pull off sensational performances and help their national teams win or get points in the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be featured here.

This means the inclusion into the eFootball Player of the Day event depends solely on the real-life performances of the stars. An eFootball POTD Card will arrive with a temporary booster, which will increase some of its attributes based on live rating. The official announcement also confirms that some of them may reappear as Showtime Cards on a later date.

When Will eFootball POTD Cards Arrive?

The eFootball POTD Cards will arrive in the game between June 13, 2026, and June 23, 2026. New cards will go live by 17:30 IST (+5:30 UTC) following the end of matches. Every day, users will get a new eFootball POTD players list. You will get only 48 hours to sign an eFootball POTD Card, after which it will be removed from the game.

Step-By-Step Process To Get eFootball POTD Cards

Now that you are aware of the eFootball POTD release timings, check the process to get these cards using the steps given below.

Open the eFootball Application on your Mobile/Console.
Select and click Match from the Home Screen.
Click on the Event section and select Event- VS AI.
Select and start playing the International Cup Day event and earn chance deals.
Use this chance deal to sign a POTD card on the following day.

This means you will have to collect the Chance deals a day before the eFootball POTW Cards go live, and each of these chance deals will come with an expiration time (48 hours). You can only use these once the Special player lists highlight Started in-game.
