What is Power Tackle Skill in eFootball?

Konami released a new Showtime skill of the month today, September 22, 2026, the second of this month. While the one released earlier was for the strikers, the eFootball Power Tackle skill launched today will make the defenders impenetrable. The new skill has arrived with a unique standalone pack; you can learn the details of it below.

What is the eFootball Power Tackle Skill?

The eFootball Power Tackle skill is the latest entry to the list of Showtime skills built for defenders in the Dream Team. The CBs, full-backs, and DMFs are equipped with the new eFootball Power Tackle skill, which lets them easily perform standing tackles and use their physical strength to push opponents off balance and gain possession.

The eFootball Power Tackle skill works best with defenders with elite stats in physical contact and defending. The Power Tackle eFootball skill will enable players to push attackers off the ball. This skill will work best with Fortress and Long Reach Tackle. This combination will make a deadly defender.

How to Use the eFootball Power Tackle Skill?

There is no explicit way to perform the new eFootball Power Tackle skill. Players equipped with the skill will perform it automatically when using the instructions for a normal tackle. Here is how you can do it on both platforms

Mobile

Mobile users need to press the Dash and Match Up button while adjusting the position of the player with the cursor using your left thumb

Console

Press the Match Up button (C) and use the Pressure button (X) to hit the standing tackle. The new skill will be automatically triggered.

Players with Power Tackle in eFootball

The new eFootball Epic Power Tackle Pack features all cards with this new Showtime skill. All three defenders with the eFootball Power Tackle skill are former Italian nationals. All new cards are equipped with two Showtime skills each that make them very useful in this meta.

Right now, there are only three cards with the eFootball Power Tackle skill: Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Daniele De Rossi. It is a 150-card pack, but it will require players to spend eFootball coins.
