Konami Plans to Release New eFootball Showtime Skills: Release Date and All Details

We are just a few weeks into the new eFootball v6.0.0 update, which saw the introduction of new Epic and Showtime cards with as many as 3 rare skills. However, this is not all, as Konami will be dropping plenty of new eFootball Showtime skills over the next updates, equipped to new cards and packs. These new skills will be completely changing the in-game meta, and you can learn about them right here even before their release.

Seven New eFootball Showtime Skills Set to Arrive

According to the latest leaks from trusted data miners, seven new eFootball Showtime skills with unique animations and mechanics will be added this season. While Konami has yet to unveil the official release dates of the new eFootball Showtime skills, we have dug deep to find some insight into them.

To begin with, the new Showtime skills include the following: Rapid Trigger Finish, Beast Drive, Sharp Cut, Decisive Pass, Power Tackle, GK Rush Out, and GK Aerial Claim.

All new eFootball Showtime skills will be introduced with new packs, and some may even be assigned to specific managers. They may be released during special occasions like anniversary celebrations, big collaborative tournaments like the AFC Asian Cup, and more.

List of All New eFootball Showtime Skills

Konami has neither provided descriptions nor confirmed which cards will receive these new eFootball Showtime skills. If you go through the nomenclature of the skills, it's evident to cover multiple positions. However, based on the names and possible playing styles, here is what we have deduced about these new skills:

eFootball houses two types of Showtime skills: one is user-controlled, and the other is triggered by AI when specific conditions are met. As per our understanding, three of the seven new eFootball Showtime skills will be based on AI behaviour, meaning they could be potential meta-changers.

How Will the New eFootball Showtime Skills Work?

There are no official descriptions of the new eFootball Showtime skills at the time of publication of this article, and Konami will announce them as and when they are introduced in the game. Based on their names, we can get an idea of how these skills could work and which positions they may be suited for.

• Rapid Trigger Finish: This skill will be built for the CFs of the dream team. Players equipped with the Rapid Trigger Finish eFootball skill may be able to shoot faster than other attackers. The animation may also be different, and it will be user-controlled.
• Beast Drive: This eFootball Showtime skill sounds like a powerful shot. The player could have high physicality to push past defenders and activate knock-on shots.
• Sharp Cut: This sounds like a dribbling skill meant to be equipped to wingers. This may allow players to make sharp turns while dribbling from the wings without losing possession.
• Decisive Pass: The eFootball Decisive Pass Showtime skill will be another passing-oriented skill that may improve the accuracy of the stunning shots taken by the receiver.

• Power Tackle: This skill could get an animation of its own. Defenders and defensive midfielders. Players might use their physicality to win duels using this skill.
• GK Rush Out: These new eFootball Showtime skills will help offensive goalkeepers to play sweeper keeper more diligently. This skill will let goalkeepers analyse dangerous through balls and passes and rush out better.
• GK Aerial Claim: This is another goalkeeper-centric skill which will make the player better at catching and parrying crosses.
