The stage is now officially set for PMGO 2026 Season 1, as Tencent has announced the full PMGO 2026 Main Event Format, including dates, location, and regional slot allocation. The PUBG Mobile Global Open will go down from June 2nd to June 7th, 2026, with the main event taking place in Southeast Asia, which is yet another huge global LAN event for the region.
A total of 32 teams from around the world will be competing in the PMGO 2026 main event, which has been the biggest in recent times.

PMGO 2026 Main Event Format Explained

The PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1 main event has a three-stage competitive format that aims to encourage consistency and adaptability.

The competition kicks off with the Group Stage, which will take place on June 2-3. The 32 teams that qualified for the competition will be split into Group A and Group B, with 16 teams in each group. The teams will play six matches a day, and the top six teams in each group will qualify for the Grand Finals.

The teams that finish between 7th and 14th places in their respective groups will advance to the Survival Stage, scheduled to take place on June 4 in PUBG Mobile Global Open.

The Survival Stage consists of 16 teams, with each team competing in six matches in a single day. However, only the top four teams in the Survival Stage will qualify for the remaining spots in the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals will take place on June 6-7, with a total of 16 teams competing. The matches will be conducted under the Smash Rule, ensuring that the teams play aggressively and with a lot at stake as they compete for the PMGO 2026 championship title.
