Summary
UFL Mobile is one of the highly anticipated football games of 2026. The game recently soft-launched in India and Indonesia, and a global rollout is on the horizon. Football games are popular worldwide, but new titles often struggle to bridge the gap between community demands and what the market already offers.
As UFL steps into the mobile gaming industry, we at SportsDunia had the opportunity to interview Mr Eugene Nashilov, CEO of Strikerz Inc., who discussed UFL Mobile's vision and its integration into esports going forward.
UFL Mobile Aims to Carve Its Place in Mobile Football Gaming
When asked how UFL Mobile plans to carve out a space for itself in a highly saturated mobile football gaming industry and stand out from big players like FC Mobile and eFootball, Striker Inz CEO Eugene Nashilov had respect for both products and praised their sustainability and audience retention, which ‘helped shape football gaming.’

He also emphasised that UFL Mobile is not just a copy of the games already available in the market and plans to deliver a high-quality football experience and create a lively ecosystem. Eugene further shared his team's vision of creating a game with fluid movement and realistic graphics that can be enjoyed by players globally.
Additionally, Eugene also emphasised UFL's community-centric approach as the foundation of its long-term commitment.
Technology is only one part of it, though. UFL Mobile also has its own core gameplay and meta features that are meant to feel fresh within the football games market. Our confidence comes from the fact that we are building not just a launch product, but a live football ecosystem, in line with UFL’s global philosophy of community-centric focus, constant updates for core & meta experiences, and a long-term commitment behind it.

While UFL Esports is Certain, Crossplay isn't a Part of Striker Inz’s Vision

Strikerz INC CEO underlined UFL's aspiration to have a robust Esports ecosystem and that they will 'earn that step by step.' He strongly believes that the game needs to feel good, competitive, fun, and fair for the players, and 'Esports to become a natural extension of that'.
He highlighted that the team is pretty close to achieving the same for their Console and PC titles. When we inquired about UFL Mobile's impending cross-play across all platforms, Eugene reiterated that they don't plan on introducing cross-play currently.
At the moment, we are not planning to merge the experiences between console, PC, and mobile. We believe players behave differently on mobile compared to when they play at home on PC or console. The session length is different, the controls are different, and even the mood is different. Both experiences deserve equal respect. So our goal is to make UFL Mobile feel like a proper UFL experience, but the one designed for mobile players first.
UFL Mobile's Launch Roadmap Has Potential Co-Op Play Plans
UFL Mobile currently has three game modes. This includes both PvP and PvE ones for the players to build and test their teams. When asked about what new features can take seasoned football gamers by surprise, Eugene confidently stated that UFL's 'feeling of movement, ball control, transitions, and overall rhythm' will captivate users.
For me personally, that ‘feel’ is the key. When you take the phone, play one match, and immediately want to play one more, that is the moment we are working for.

Eugene assured that players can expect a lot from the developers. Regular core gameplay updates, new modes, big fixes, optimisation, and future brand collaborations have already been planned. He emphasised UFL's community-focused approach to build trust and that the 'roadmap will depend on the feedback and data received after launch.'
When asked about a dream mode that he, as a gamer, would love to have in UFL Mobile, Eugene was quick to respond with 'Co-op' play and revealed that the developers plan to integrate it soon:
I would say co-op play. I personally love the idea of grinding and winning together with friends. Not just playing against people, but building something together, sharing progress, and being rewarded equally for collaborative play.
Co-op is something we want to bring across UFL platforms, and I think it can be a very powerful feature for football fans. It is not something you add lightly, because it needs to feel good and polished, but I am really looking forward to integrating it.
UFL Mobile Global version will be released worldwide for both Android and iOS in the second-half of 2026. The game's regional variants have not only crossed 500,000 downloads but also received positive reviews across both app stores. That sums up the UFL Mobile CEO Eugene Nashilov interview.
