FPL Price Changes – Rises, Falls and Most Transfers In/Out For GW 27

Gameweek 27 of the Fantasy Premier League season is soon going to be upon us. In that context it is important to look at how the last GW went. Gameweek 26 took place last weekend and threw up several interesting things to take note of. The stars of the show in the previous GW were Marco Asensio of Aston Villa who had a total of 17 points, Bryan Mbeumo for Brentford who managed a tally of 15 points and Mo Salah of Liverpool who managed a tally of 14 points. The highlight of the weekend is the game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. The latter side are improving of late and have always been a thorn in the side of Pep Guardiola’s team. City on the other hand are finding it very difficult to leave their slump in form.

Beto (Everton) £5.0m

The recruitment of David Moyes has rejuvenated Everton once more. Above all, it has been the impact he has had on Beto. The forward was brought in after some exceptional performances in Serie A for Udinese a few years ago. Nevertheless, since joining the Toffees, things haven’t quite panned out for him. However, after Moyes’s arrival, the story has changed entirely. Beto has been designated the main striker for the team, and it has resulted in benefits for them. All of his 5 appearances in the Premier League have taken place in the last 5 weeks, and he has found the back of the net 5 times.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £4.9m

Even though Crystal Palace experienced a poor beginning to the season, they have shown improvement recently. Considering their strategy under manager Oliver Glasner, they place significant reliance on their wingback, and within that framework, right wingback Daniel Munoz has found himself in excellent form. The Colombian, who joined last season has been positioning himself well for scoring opportunities and capitalizing on them. He has 3 goals and 3 assists already and shows no particular signs of slowing down.

Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa) £6.7m

No one else in the Premier League arguably has more at stake at this time than Marcus Rashford. Frequently omitted from the squad by new manager Ruben Amorim, Rashford had to exit Manchester United, the team he had considered home since he was a child. Efforts with prominent clubs such as Barcelona and Milan did not come to fruition, prompting him to sign with Aston Villa instead. However, Villa is a strong team, and under Unai Emery, the England international has the chance to silence many skeptics. With teammates such as Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, and Marco Asensio, Rashford will also gain strong support. What is anticipated of him at this moment is to enjoy his football and showcase his elite level of play. He might very well net his first goal while wearing their colours soon.

Amad (Man Utd) £5.4m

Amad Diallo has experienced a season-ending injury, with ankle ligament damage sustained during training this week, which is a major setback for manager Ruben Amorim. This is a significant worry for Manchester United, who are currently in 15th place in the Premier League. They are in urgent need of motivation, and Amad had been supplying that throughout the season. He was their standout player and a substantial FPL asset. Therefore, he is experiencing a drop in price. The winger will also be devastated, considering he had finally received an opportunity and had seized it wholeheartedly.

Antonin Kinsky (Spurs) £4.4m

The first two games that Antonin Kinsky participated in were against Liverpool and Arsenal. While that might seem like substantial pressure for a 21-year-old. The Czech goalkeeper, on the other hand, appears to have greater determination. Recently signed by Tottenham in January after impressing with Slavia Prague in the Europa League, Kinsky is an outstanding shot-stopper and ball handler. He made good use of these qualities as he kept a clean sheet in his first match against Liverpool. However, it seems like he has not done enough to tie down a berth as the return of Guglielmo Vicario has put him back to the bench.

Bernardo Silva (Man City) £6.1m

Bernardo Silva is not the most favored FPL choice regardless, his decline this season has been quite significant. His failure to penetrate defenses has caused Pep Guardiola to position him deeper. Nevertheless, his physical attributes and skill appear to have diminished greatly. This has been a major factor in why Manchester City have faced difficulties this season. Despite all of City’s acquisitions, midfield still appears to be a section of the field they have yet to enhance. In summary, it is not surprising to observe his value decreasing.
