According to reports, Marc Guehi is set to be replaced in the England national team squad after an injury setback he suffered in Crystal Palace's UEFA Conference League game against AZ Alkmaar. It is being reported that Thomas Tuchel has already identified a Marc Guehi replacement, who is none other than Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah. Marc Guehi's injury has opened new doors for the Chelsea man, who is the favourite to get into the squad for the upcoming games for England. An official statement is yet to come, but Thomas Tuchel's admiration for Chalobah isn't new. He was the one who handed Chalobah his debut for Chelsea in 2021. Tuchel even explained that the English defender was unfortunate to miss out on the previous games due to tough competition in the backline. Chalobah has featured in just four games for Chelsea this season but is expected to step up for his old manager once again when he needs him the most.
