Nigeria Women vs Comoros Women: How to watch Olympic Games Qualifier on TV & Stream

The Super Falcons return to action at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne for the second leg of their LA 2028 Olympic qualifying tie against Comoros. The Nigerians will aim to seal their spot in the Round 3 showdown against Morocco, who were given a walkover by DR Congo in their Round 2 tie. Goals from Michelle Alozie and Uchenna Kanu in the first leg have given Nigeria a 2-goal cushion ahead of the clash. However, the Super Falcons must remain focused in order to complete the job and continue their hunt for one of the 2 available African slots at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Nigeria controlled most of the possession against the minnow side, but had to wait until the second half for an opening. Gift Monday created the opening for Alozie to slot home just three minutes into the restart. Kanu doubled the home side's lead in the 60th minute with a headed goal following a corner kick taken by Jennifer Echegini. Comoros, meanwhile, were flying high after an emphatic 30-0 aggregate win over Sudan in their previous qualifying round. But the visitors were given a harsh reality check by 10-time WAFCON winners Nigeria, who proved far superior. The team was unable to find their feet and were left chasing the ball for most of the 90 minutes.

Head coach Yusuf Abdullah described the opportunity as a learning experience for his players, mentioning that his team intended to enjoy the occasion and give its best.
