Latest Developments on the Investigation of Antoine Semenyo's Racial Abuse

Mark Mogan is out on bail as of now and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on 22nd December, 2025. The game at Anfield had to be stopped midway to eject the man who racially abused Antoine Semenyo. The player went on to score two goals in that match, but couldn't take his team over the line.

A spokesperson from the Liverpool football club said back then that they were aware of the situation and highly condemned the action. The FA also reassured back then that it would take necessary steps and make an example so that no other player of colour would face the same fate as Antoine Semenyo racist abuse in the future.

The FA has always stated that there's no room for racism in the Premier League & will take necessary actions to curb it, but repeated incidents like the one that happened with Antoine Semenyo have only tarnished the league's image.
