Sergio Lobera took the opportunity to address the fans of Mohun Bagan that he is here to build something special with the team, and tomorrow is the very first step they will be taking towards achieving that goal.

He also acknowledged that they have the required tools, which will be instrumental in tasting success at the end of the season, and urged the Mohun Bagan fraternity to have their backs just as they have had all these years. We are working for them. I think the big part, the main part of our job is to make the people happy. And we have the tools: Playing football and doing what we love, is to play football.
Hopefully we can make the people happy who are coming to the stadium tomorrow. Hopefully we have the big fanbase behind. We can make these people happy and also at the end of the season we can celebrate together something important, but tomorrow is the first step.
I want to tell thank you to the supporters for the welcome I had when I arrived in Kolkata, and hopefully tomorrow the team can give them what they deserve: To enjoy the game and hopefully three very important points for us.

It remains to be seen how the Lobera era kickstarts for Mohun Bagan, starting with the current season of the ISL. People have high hopes for the Spaniard and his team as they apply their finishing touches before facing a familiar foe once again.
