The Super Eagles will be back in action, as they will face Rwanda and South Africa in this international window in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. They have already defeated Rwanda once this year and will look to beat them once again. This year has not been very good for the Super Eagles, but they will be confident of getting good results in the upcoming fixture. In six Qualifying games, they have won once match,, drawn four matches and lost once, and have seven points on the table. They are the favourites to win against the Wasps, and surely they will hope to win it by a good margin.

On the other hand, Rwanda are yet to win a game in 2025, as they will be looking to get their first win of the year in the upcoming qualifiers matches. In six games till now, they have won two, drawn two and lost two matches. The players and coaching staff will have a lot of pressure going into this fixture, with eight points on the table, they are in the second spot. They are a side that can create an upset away from home, even though it's chances are very low. This will be a mouthwatering clash for sure.

Key Players to Watch in Nigeria vs Rwanda

Victor Osimhen (Nigeria)

Even though his quality has dropped in the last few seasons, Victor Osimhen is still a key player for the Super Eagles, and surely his team expect him to deliver performance in the upcoming fixtures. He is still a very fast, rapid and proper goalscorer who can score goals out of nowhere. Physically, he is able to dominate defenders and beat them with his trickery and pace. Osimhen will not get a lot of space to attack in the upcoming fixture, as Rwanda will keep things very tight at the back and will make sure he doesn't get passes and have space to score goals.

Djihad Bizimana (Rwanda)

Bizimana plays as a defensive midfielder and can also play as a box-to-box midfielder who can dominate the midfield with his intelligence and physicality. But against Nigeria, he will not be able to play his natural game, as the Super Eagles are a much better side and have players who play in top European leagues. He will have to be smart and should know when to attack and when to hold back, as the Super Eagles are capable of breaking defences quite easily. Bizimana will have to be at his best against Nigeria.

Nigeria vs Rwanda Prediction

The Super Eagles are a much better side quality-wise, as they have got much better experienced and technical players in the team. Despite this, fans can expect this to be a tight fixture for sure, as Rwanda will make sure to put every player behind the ball and hit the home team in counterattack. Most probably, the home team will win this fixture.

Predicted Score: Nigeria 2-1 Rwanda
