Al Nassr 1-0 Neom SC Player Ratings: Joao Felix 9.1/10 as the Knights Edge Out Neom Despite Ronaldo Penalty Miss in Tense Riyadh SPL Win

Ange Postecoglou’s Al Nassr claimed three crucial Saudi Pro League points at Al-Awwal Park, yet the evening will be remembered as much for what didn’t happen as what did. Cristiano Ronaldo’s stoppage-time first-half penalty miss, the Al Nassr captain’s effort saved with conviction, handed Neom SC a lifeline that their defensive organisation had earned and that briefly threatened to define an increasingly uncomfortable evening for the home side against a disciplined, well-organised opponent.

Joao Felix provided the decisive intervention that Ronaldo had been unable to deliver, his composed 61st-minute finish threading through a packed Neom defensive structure with the clinical, precise quality that has made him one of the Saudi Pro League’s most dangerous and consistent attacking threats throughout this campaign. His goal was the difference between three points and a damaging dropped result that Al Nassr’s title ambitions could ill afford against lower-ranked opposition.

Felix was the undisputed match-winner, and his 9.1/10 rating reflects a complete attacking display that went far beyond the decisive goal; his movement, link-up quality, and ability to create space in tight areas consistently gave Neom’s defensive block problems they could not sustainably solve. While Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty miss will inevitably dominate the post-match discussion, Félix’s contribution was the defining reason why Al Nassr collected all three points from a contest that demanded individual quality to unlock.
