Summary

6-Minute Miracle Comeback: Trailing 3-1 until the 83rd minute, Real Madrid scored through Carlos Espi (83'), Endrick (85'), and Antonio Rudiger (90') to pull off an improbable 4-3 away victory.
Malen's Brace Undone: Donyell Malen's brilliant second-half double (51', 58') gave Gasperini's side a deserved two-goal cushion before Roma's late set-piece defensive breakdown squandered the match.
Mourinho's Emotional Return: Returning to the Stadio Olimpico as an opponent, Jose Mourinho oversaw a classic Real Madrid late heist to maintain their strong position in the Champions League.

Real Madrid staged one of the most astonishing comebacks in recent UEFA Champions League history, scoring three times in six breathless late minutes to steal a staggering 4-3 victory over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

In an unforgettable European night, Gian Piero Gasperini’s AS Roma looked primed to secure a famous triumph after thoroughly outplaying the 15-time champions for over 80 minutes. Experienced midfielder Marten de Roon ignited the home crowd by opening the scoring in the 20th minute with a midrange strike, before Kylian Mbappe pounced on a defensive clearance mistake to briefly bring Los Blancos level.

Roma reinstated total dominance early in the second half as star forward Donyell Malen delivered a clinical double. Donyell Malen fired across goal in the 51st minute and added a second in the 58th minute following VAR review, handing the Giallorossi a comfortable 3-1 advantage that seemed to put the match completely out of reach.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side invoked their mythical European magic in the closing stages, brutally punishing Roma’s sudden set-piece collapse. Substitute Carlos Espí pounced on an 83rd-minute rebound, teenage prodigy Endrick headed home an 85th-minute corner, and defender Antonio Rudiger volleyed home at the back post in the 90th minute to cap off an unbelievable six-minute blitz that left the Stadio Olimpico in absolute disbelief.
