Bahrain hosted Australia at the Bahrain National Stadium in the AFC World Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday, November 19 and the two teams played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Bahrain 2-2 Australia: Player Ratings as Abduljabbar and Yengi score a brace apiece in a nail-biting draw

Australia got off to a flyer as they scored in the first minute courtesy of a mistake by Bahrain. Kusini Yengi got on the scoresheet to put the visitors ahead. However, the rest of the first half was a cagey affair as Australia managed one other shot on target, while the hosts could not create a single decent chance.
The second half started with more of the same, which changed after Mahdi Abduljabbar entered the pitch. He scored a wonder-goal from around 40 yards away after seeing the goalkeeper off his line. Abduljabbar then scored a tap-in just two minutes later to make it 2-1 to Bahrain. However, Yengi grabbed a late goal for Australia and the match ended in a draw.
On that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings.
