Neither India nor Bangladesh had won any matches in the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualification before facing each other in a group league fixture at the Dhaka International Stadium on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. It was Rakib who put in a brilliant effort to create the chance, as Morsalin just had to place the ball, beating Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
