What a rollercoaster at the Allianz Arena. Paris Saint Germain came out swinging, stunning the home crowd almost immediately. We barely had time to settle in before Ousmane Dembélé found the back of the net, thanks to a sublime setup from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. It felt like FC Bayern München didn't know what hit them. The first half was all PSG; they were creating chances and looked dangerous every time they went forward.
Bayern Munich 1-1 PSG Player Ratings: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia 8.5/10 Assist Seals PSG's UCL Final Place as Bayern's Late Kane Goal Proves Too Little Too Late

From our perspective, Bayern looked disjointed and frustrated. They couldn't seem to find their rhythm, with misplaced passes and a lack of cutting edge in the final third. The Parisians were defending stoutly, and it seemed for a long while that they would hold on for a famous victory in this Champions League semi-final. What stood out to us was how Bayern kept plugging away, even when things weren't going their way. You could see the determination.
Then, just when all hope seemed lost, the inevitable happened. Harry Kane, who had been relatively quiet, popped up with a crucial late equalizer. It was a classic poacher's finish, snatching a draw from the jaws of defeat. In the end, a 1-1 draw felt like a fair result in this gripping match. Bayern will feel relieved, while PSG will be kicking themselves for not putting the game to bed. Here are Sportsdunia's Bayern Munich vs PSG player ratings.
Bayern Munich Player Ratings vs PSG
Here are the Bayern Munich Player Ratings vs PSG.
Goalkeeper
Manuel Neuer - 8.0: What can you say about the big man? He kept Bayern in the game, simple as that. He made six saves, four of them from inside the box, which tells you everything. Without him, PSG could have been three or four goals up by halftime. We noticed his command of the area was exceptional, especially with one crucial high claim. His distribution was a bit shaky at times, but his shot-stopping was world-class. A true captain's performance when his team needed him most.
Defenders
Dayot Upamecano - 6.5: A bit of a mixed performance from Upamecano. He was solid in possession with a 91% pass accuracy but seemed to struggle with the pace of PSG's attack. What stood out to us was how he was dribbled past three times, showing some vulnerability. He did make a couple of important interceptions and a crucial blocked shot. It wasn't his worst game, but it wasn't his most commanding either before he was substituted.
Jonathan Tah - 6.0: A difficult evening for Tah who also got a yellow card. He struggled to impose himself, winning just one duel all game. He missed a big chance from a set-piece which could have changed the game. From our perspective, he never looked entirely comfortable against the movement of PSG's forwards. Substituted after 68 minutes, and you could see why Kompany wanted a change.
Konrad Laimer - 6.0: Deployed in a defensive role, Laimer had a tough time. He committed four fouls and won only two of his ten duels, which is not a great return. He was dribbled past twice and looked a bit lost at sea. While he was tidy on the ball, his defensive contribution was not up to his usual standard. A night he will want to forget quickly.
Josip Stanisic - 7.0: One of the better performers in a shaky Bayern defence. He was very active, recovering the ball 12 times which was impressive. He also tried to get forward, creating two chances and putting in a couple of crosses. However, he was also dribbled past twice and picked up a yellow card for his troubles. A decent, hard-working display despite the pressure.

Midfielders
Joshua Kimmich - 7.0: Kimmich was the heartbeat of the team as usual, with 88 touches and 91% pass accuracy. He tried to dictate play and created a big chance. However, from our perspective, he didn't have his usual commanding influence on the game. He recovered the ball well but wasn't able to unlock the PSG defence as often as he would have liked. A solid but unspectacular performance.
Jamal Musiala - 6.5: A frustrating outing for the young star. We saw flashes of his brilliance, with some nice dribbles and a few shots on goal. He had three shots but couldn't find the clinical finish. He worked hard, drawing three fouls, but also lost possession nine times in dangerous areas. He just couldn't quite make that decisive impact before he was taken off.
Luis Díaz - 7.0: A bundle of energy as always. He was a constant threat with his dribbling and created three key passes, including one big chance. He never stopped running and trying to make things happen. On the downside, he picked up a yellow card and was dispossessed a couple of times. A good, spirited performance even if the end product wasn't always there.
Michael Olise - 5.5: A really disappointing night for Olise, from our perspective. He was heavily involved, with 92 touches, but his final product was seriously lacking. He lost possession a staggering 29 times and missed a big chance. The stats show he attempted nine dribbles but only completed three, which sums up his evening of trying but failing. An error leading to a shot also marred his performance. He just couldn't make the impact we know he's capable of.
Aleksandar Pavlovic - 6.5: A tidy game in the middle of the park for Pavlovic. He kept the ball moving with 94% pass accuracy and created four chances which was a bright spot. However, he was a bit of a lightweight defensively, winning only two of his thirteen duels. He was also dispossessed five times, showing some naivety against a top-tier opponent. A learning experience for the young midfielder.
Forwards
Harry Kane - 7.5: For 93 minutes, this was a quiet game for Kane. He was isolated, lost possession 16 times, and struggled to get involved. But great strikers only need one moment. He came alive right at the end to score the crucial equalizer, showing his predatory instincts. That goal single-handedly bumps up his rating and salvaged a point for his team. The highest-rated player for his team due to his decisive goal.

Manager
V. Kompany - 6.5: His team looked shell-shocked after the early goal and struggled to find any cohesion for large parts of the match. The tactical setup seemed to leave them vulnerable on the counter. Credit to him, though, his side never gave up and fought their way back into the game. The substitutions he made were part of the effort that eventually led to the equalizer, showing a willingness to change things up.

Goalkeeper
Matvey Safonov - 7.0: He'll be gutted about conceding so late. Safonov made five saves, three from inside the box, and looked commanding for most of the game. His distribution was erratic, with a very low pass completion rate, often going long. He made a couple of punches and a good high claim. He couldn't do anything about the Kane goal, a point-blank finish. A solid performance overall.
Defenders
Marquinhos - 5.5: A tough day at the office for the Paris Saint Germain captain. He looked a bit off the pace and struggled against the physicality of Bayern's attack. While he made five clearances, he also committed three fouls and picked up a yellow card. He only won 40% of his duels and seemed to be chasing shadows at times. Not his best performance in a PSG shirt.
Nuno Mendes - 7.5: A fantastic performance from the left-back. He was a rock in defence, winning an incredible nine out of twelve duels. He also completed four dribbles and was a constant outlet on the attack. His defensive work was top-notch, with three tackles and an interception. He did pick up an early yellow card but that didn't stop his all-action display. Unlucky to be on the non-winning side.
Warren Zaïre-Emery - 6.0: Played in an unfamiliar defensive role and it showed at times. He was dribbled past three times and made an error that led to a shot. He did create two chances going forward and showed some good moments on the ball. However, his defensive positioning was questionable, and he only won one of his three tackles. A difficult assignment for the young prodigy.
Willian Pacho - 7.0: A very solid and composed display from Pacho. He made six clearances and two interceptions, reading the game well. He won all of his ground duels which is an impressive stat. He was strong in the tackle and drew two fouls to relieve pressure. A no-nonsense defensive performance that helped keep Bayern at bay for so long.

Midfielders
Fabián Ruiz - 6.5: A workmanlike performance from Ruiz in the midfield. He was tidy, won his tackles, and made four clearances. He didn't offer a huge amount going forward, creating just one chance, but he did his defensive job well. From our perspective, he provided a good screen in front of the back four before being substituted. A solid, if unspectacular, shift.
Vitinha - 7.0: A very creative performance from Vitinha. He created four chances, including one big chance, and was the main link between midfield and attack. He was tidy in possession and put in a couple of good crosses. He worked hard off the ball too. A shame his creative spark didn't lead to a second goal for his team.
João Neves - 6.5: A battler in the midfield. He won seven duels and made four tackles, showing his tenacity. He had a shot on target but also missed a big chance that could have sealed the game. He was a bit loose in possession, losing the ball 12 times. A mixed bag of a performance, with good defensive work but some wastefulness on the ball.
Forwards
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 8.5: The man of the match for us, without a doubt. He was an absolute terror down the flank all game long. He got the assist for the opening goal and created four chances in total. What stood out to us was his directness, completing an incredible six out of six dribbles. He was a constant threat, and Bayern's defenders just couldn't handle him. Easily the most exciting and highest-rated player on the pitch.
Ousmane Dembélé - 7.5: Scored the crucial opening goal with a brilliant finish. He was a livewire for the 65 minutes he was on the pitch. While he wasn't heavily involved in terms of touches, his one shot was clinical. His pace and directness caused problems for the Bayern backline. A great impact in the time he had.
Désiré Doué - 7.0: A very busy and chaotic performance. He had four shots, two on target, and was constantly looking to make something happen. He completed a couple of dribbles and was a general nuisance. However, he also lost possession 17 times which was far too many. An exciting but raw performance from the young attacker.
Manager
L. Martínez García - 7.0: His game plan worked perfectly for about 90 minutes. His team scored early, defended resolutely, and looked dangerous on the break. They nullified Bayern's main threats for most of the game. However, his side couldn't see out the win, conceding in heartbreaking fashion. Perhaps his late substitutions disrupted the team's defensive rhythm. A near-perfect night undone at the very end.
