Summary
Brest faced Nice in a matchday 8 Ligue 1 fixture, and it was a pretty one-sided affair. The home side were in cruise control for most of the game, as reflected in the xG: 1.57 for Brest to 0.36 for Nice.
Ludovic Ajorque put Stade Brestois 29 in the lead in the 15th minute with a header. Although the ball was headed for the centre of the goal where the goalkeeper should have made a comfortable save, Yéhvann Diouf completely messed it up.
OGC Nice did get their payback in the 61st minute, as Elye Wahi finished from close range following a cross from Mohamed Amoura. Just as things looked like they were going to end on even terms, substitute Sofiane Diop showed up with the winner in the 83rd minute, leaving the home fans completely distraught.
