The final matchweek of the group stage encounters took us to Philadelphia, where Chelsea locked horns with North African outfit ES Tunis. Chelsea were handed a big blow in their most recent encounter after Botafogo defeated them to seal their spot in the knockout round. The Premier League outfit's qualification hopes were hanging by a thread, and Enzo Marseca needed an optimistic result to qualify for the next round.
The North African side also succumbed to a defeat against the Brazilian outfit before winning the last match against LAFC. Anything other than all three points meant bidding adieu to the competition for the Tunisian side.
The game began with Chelsea throwing everything since the first minute to break the deadlock. Despite knowing that a draw would have been enough for the Blues to make it to the next round, Marseca's side kept putting pressure on Tunis's defence. The African side defended with their heart and soul and looked satisfied to go goalless in the first half. Despite a spirited defence, a lapse in concentration in the stoppage time saw their hopes being crushed into pieces after Tosin and Delap scored goals to make it 2-0 for Chelsea in the first half. The goals almost took Chelsea into the playoffs of the FIFA Club World Cup. Before the final whistle, Chelsea were able to make it 3-0 in their favour with the help of Tyrique George.

Goalkeeper
Ben Said - 5.5/10

Konate's agility saw the Tunisian side making inroads into Chelsea's box, but there was not much quality to convert that into a goal.
