Paulo Gazzaniga - 6.0: Beaten for the goal, but what could he really do? It was a powerful header. He made two saves during the match, both from inside the box, so he wasn't entirely a spectator. From our perspective, his distribution was a bit hit-and-miss, with only 42% of his long balls finding a teammate. A quiet evening overall, but one that ended in defeat.

Defenders

Arnau Martínez - 7.0: A really solid showing from the captain. He tried to drive his team forward, creating two big chances which is impressive for a defender. Defensively, he won most of his duels and was a reliable presence on the right. What stood out to us was his effort, constantly trying to make something happen even when things weren't going their way.

Vitor Reis - 7.0: A rock at the back. He was a beast in the air, winning four aerial duels and making a massive six clearances. He got a yellow card for his troubles but that just shows his commitment. We noticed he was a commanding figure, always organizing and shouting. A very strong defensive performance.

Alejandro Francés - 7.5: This guy was everywhere. He won an incredible nine out of thirteen duels, a testament to his strength and timing. He looked a bit sluggish at times, and it wasn't a surprise to see him substituted. He's been so reliable this season, so this performance was a disappointment personally.

Fran Beltrán - 6.5: Tidy and efficient in possession, with a 95% pass accuracy. He kept the ball moving but we felt he was a bit too safe. He didn't offer much penetration into the final third. A steady, if unspectacular, performance before being withdrawn.

Azzedine Ounahi - 7.5: Girona's brightest spark, by a mile. He was the one trying to unlock the stubborn Mallorca defence, creating three chances.
