Gonzalo Luján - 6.5: Had a few uncertain moments, particularly in the first half. He grew into the game and ended up looking much more composed. His 7 duels won show he was up for the fight, even if his error led to a shot.

Goalkeeper

James Pantemis - 7.5: If it wasn't for him, this could have been a truly embarrassing scoreline. He made six saves, including four from inside the box. He was let down by his defense but can hold his head high. A brilliant individual performance in a losing team.

Defenders

Kamal Miller - 5.5: A very tough evening for the defender. He was constantly exposed by Miami's attackers. While his passing was accurate, he struggled with the defensive side of his game and was subbed off after 67 minutes.

Brandon Bye - 6.0: He won a lot of aerial duels and tried to get forward. However, he lost possession 19 times which is just too much. He worked hard but the quality wasn't there against such strong opposition.

Finn Surman - 6.5: Probably the best of a bad bunch in the Timbers' defense. He made five clearances and blocked five shots, throwing his body on the line. He was fighting a losing battle, but he didn't give up.

Jimer Fory - 5.5: He recovered the ball nine times, which shows his work rate. But defensively he was often found wanting. He won only one of his three duels and seemed overwhelmed by the pace of the game.

Midfielders
