This was the first time that the K-League All Stars had played in a friendly game since their 1-0 victory over Newcastle United last year.

There was no doubt that the Cityzens would assert dominance in this game from the very first whistle, and they did so by scoring a goal in the first ten minutes through Rayan Ait-Nouri. However, the K-League All Stars hit back just three minutes after conceding, as Kim Dae-Won scored a beautiful equalizer from an Eo Jeong-Won assist.

There's no shortage of quality in this Manchester City team, and they showed exactly that by scoring twice within three minutes, as Tijjani Reijnders and youngster Divin Mubama scored in the 20th and 23rd minutes, respectively, to put the away team in the lead once again.
